Vocational Courses :

These are job-oriented courses. They also teach self-employment techniques. The academically oriented ones can also pursue higher studies.

Environment and Water Management (Honours):

It is a six semester full time degree course sponsored by U.G.C. This prestigious B. Sc. (H) course was started here in the year 1996. This is the only institute all over Jharkhand which is running this course. Its main aim is to aware the students about the complex relationship between humans and the water as well environment which helps the students to resolve the issues related to environment and water. Eligibility is to pass in intermediate/ +2 from all stream (Arts, Commerce and Science), from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission is based on merit and interview.

Business Administration (BBA):

The three-year BBA programme (6 semester) aims to develop the skills among the students towards the management and business. The course also offers internships to enhance the personality of the students. Eligibility is to pass in intermediate/ +2 from all stream (Arts, Commerce and Science), from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission is based on merit and interview.

Computer Application (BCA):

The three-year BCA programme (6 semester) focusses on the computing skills, soft skills, language skills, ICT as well as on job training with projects. This enables the students to get ready for the jobs along with the working environment. Eligibility is to pass in intermediate/ +2 from all stream (Arts, Commerce and Science), from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission is based on merit and interview.

Information Technology (B.Sc. IT):

The three-year B.Sc. IT programme (6 semester) main objective is to provide basic information in broad aspects to understand IT and its related interfaces. It also offers to manage the gap between management and IT. Eligibility is to pass in intermediate/ +2 in the science stream, from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 45% marks. Admission is based on merit and interview.
