College Rules
  • College Time: College office remains open from 10:30 AM. to 04:00 PM. except on Sundays and other holidays.
  • Notice Board: All the relevant information for the benefit of the students are displayed on the notice board. No plea for exemption from punishment due to lack of information is entertained. Students are directed to see the notice board regularly.
  • Ragging: As per the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India RAGGING is totally prohibited in the college, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively, or being a part of a conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with the regulations as well as under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force.
Class Hours
  • The classes will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 04:00 p.m.
  • Students should proceed to their respective classrooms and take their seats promptly to ensure they are present when the teacher enters.
  • No student shall leave the classroom during the lecture without the permission of the teacher.
Leave of Absence
  • A student who requires leave for a class hour or more must apply for it in writing to the Head of the Department.
  • A student who applies for leave for a day or more must do so in writing countersigned by the parent/guardian
  • A student who applies for leave on medical ground should attach a medical certificate along with the prescription, to his/her application from a Registered Medical Practitioner. Such an application must reach the authority concerned within five days of students return to the class. The Coordinator/Prof.-in-charge/Principal reserves the right to sanction or deny the leave.
  • A student should attend classes regularly and should have more than 75% attendance.
  • Continuous absence without leave for more than a month will render a student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls of the college.
Admission
  • Students must fill up the Registration Form along with the Admission Form at the time of admission.
  • At the time of admission in each year of Degree Programs each student must pay the full fees at the beginning of the academic session itself. No partial payment is allowed, unless otherwise directed.
  • The students of Degree Vocational Programs are allowed to pay the fees in two instalments.
  • Students who have passed the intermediate program from this college cannot demand admission into Degree Program as a matter of right
  • Once an Honors subject is granted no change is allowed.
Stipend / Scholarship
  • For stipend and scholarship, the SC/ST/OBC category students must open a Saving Bank Account in their name with the local Canara Bank, Dhurwa Branch and submit the same with the scholarship form within a month of admission to the college office.
Campus Discipline
  • Students attending classes, meetings or other gatherings within the college campus are expected to be presentably dressed in accordance with the approved etiquette dress code.
  • When a student meets a member of the staff for the first time in the day, he/she must greet him/her appropriately. This applies even to those students who appear in the final semester examinations.
  • Students are forbidden to smoke in the college premises or near the gate, to write or make any mark on the walls or desks, throw paper or ink on the floors of the classrooms or corridors.
  • Students are not allowed to loiter or stand around the verandahs or corridors of the college during class hours.
  • Students are forbidden to gather near the gate of the college or at the entrance of premises between the gate and the hall.
  • Eating tobacco is strictly forbidden in the college campus. Such students may be fined if they are caught.
  • The College reserves the right to dismiss a student at any time for any serious indiscipline.
  • Students are allowed to keep their cell phones in silent mode when the classes are going on. Defaulters set will be confiscated, if they are caught.
Parking
  • The bicycles and two wheelers are to be parked in the allotted parking places only.
  • Students are requested to look properly their vehicles. The college does not take any responsibility if the vehicle is stolen. Students are not allowed to bring cars, vans, jeeps and other four wheelers in the college campus.
Identity Card
  • The Principal’s office of the college will issue the identity card duly filled-in by the candidates.
  • Every student shall carry the Identity Card with him/her while in the college. Any staff member, a lawful authority of the college has the right to ask a student to produce it at any time.
  • The Identity Card should be shown to the authorities concerned before entering the Reading room or the Laboratories.
